Solomon’s marriages were political alliances between nations. His wives were foreign women who had to give up their cultures, gods, and languages to fit into his world.

When he prayed with them, maybe he wasn’t betraying God. Maybe he was showing empathy, acknowledging their pain and displacement.

Yet we blame them, not him. The wives become the reason for his "downfall". Classic patriarchy: when power shifts, women get blamed.
